MoneyTalks is a podcast examining how government laws, policies, and programs impact Maryland's workforce and finances.
Episode #1 - In September 2022, JOTF launched a pre-apprenticeship construction training program known as “BetterU.” The training is two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) per week for 14 weeks and centers around the hard skills in the carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades. With us today to discuss JOTF’s newly minted BetterU Construction Training are the two individuals who built the program from scratch, JOTF CEO Monique Boyd and JOTF Case Manager Charles Harper.
