3-volt LEDs. 360-640 ohm resistor. The test light is designed for voltages up to 15 volts. For 24-volt systems, use a 1-kilohm resistor (a 12-volt one will also work, but the light will be dimmer).
When checking the cigarette lighter fuse, insert the lighter and press it. On foreign cars, voltage is supplied to the cigarette lighter after the ignition switch is turned to the first position (ACC).
