The I-153 M62 "Chaika" is a Soviet piston-engine biplane fighter designed by Nikolai Polikarpov.
The I-153 is one of the highest-ranked biplanes in the game, and due to its high combat rating, the Chaika can face not only equally capable "reserve" aircraft but also more modern and powerful Messerschmitts and Spitfires. Against these, the Chaika's only trump card is maneuverability. This stat is among the best among all fighters, so only the Soviet I-15 and Japanese Ki-27 can outperform the Chaika in a turning engagement.
