When offered an abandoned Proton Wira to add to my Proton Cars Collection i just couldnt say no. The fact it had been off the road for 12 years didnt phase me, because finding one of these in the UK now is getting rarer and rarer. After seeing a 3 line posting on the local Facebook group about it being for sale i called the seller Chris and he explained the story to me. Bought new by David his Dad in 2002, it was his pride and joy until his passing in 2014. It was parked on the driveway and that is where it stayed for 12 years ... until today.
Armed with a pick up truck, Shane boy and some cash - lets go pick up this Proton Wira.
Will it start? Will it be rotten? OR will it be saved just in time?
