Peter Lovegrove and Rebecca Prestage from our Regulatory Advisory practice share their insights into regulatory expectations when giving and reviewing DB pension transfer advice, gained from our recent work with firms and other industry parties.
In their final session Peter and Rebecca discussed how outcomes for customers can be undermined if an advice process is not well controlled, if advisers are not well trained in using it and if proposed advised solutions are not rigorously checked. They also explored how to do this well.
