Welcome to our video on using our Simple SMS Send feature within our web application.
The third video in this five-part series demonstrates How to Use Simple SMS Send inside Intelli Web App.
Log in to IntelliSMS account
00:16 SMS Home
Go to SMS Home Page
You can see our SMS homepage in front of you.
00:20 Current SMS Balance
At the top it shows how many credits we have in our SMS account.
And, provides you some fields immediately where you can complete information and simply push the Send Message button.
00:34 Country Field
The Country field at the top defines the validation, the country of validation to use for your number.
00:45 'To' Field | Smart Number Validation
Enter in a mobile number in slightly unusual format.
And, given that this really doesn't match any mobile number for Australia.
Enter a Valid Number field response.
Enter valid mobile. And we will see that even though we've entered 401 to start with, the system has determined that this is an Australian number.
It will automatically added the 61 in front and let the number in for us.
01:20 Message Field
We simply type in a message. e.g. "This is a test message."
01:29 Source Address Field
We can choose to pick one of our source addresses to send the message from or select none.
In which case it will look for a source address set against the send direct in the system, which there is none also.
In which case the system will now select a source address for us from a Intelli Intelligent Source Routing reply form.
Send this using one of my allocated source addresses.
2:04 Simple Send Message
Click Send Message Button to send message.
The message has now been sent.
That explains the most simple way to send a message.

And also cut and paste a list into the To field from either a text file or from an xl file, or a csv file.
02:23 Text File
We have a text file here.
Note in this file.
1- We have a number of different lines with text
2- With wrong numbers
3- With text and numbers
4- With different prefixes on numbers
And our 'To' field is going to validate all of this and clean out all the stuff that we don't want in there and leave the valid numbers for us.
02:48 Copy Numbers
Simply copy the numbers in text File
02:50 Paste to 'To' Field
Then paste it to 'To' field.
When we tab out of that field, you'll now see that that number list is completely clean for us.
03:22 Select Contacts
We are going to select some contacts.
Simply hit this link and scroll down the page.

So now we can search for and select contacts to be added to our To field above.

We search through all our contacts.

We can either choose to select a filter to search by.
So, in that previous when we created a filter.
We created a filter called business.
Click Search button

Just add these two by selecting all or add whole contact list.
04:09 Message field
Write a particular message that includes some contact tokens.

We are including a token.
This token will be replaced with the first name of the contact.
04:48 Send Message
Click send message button.
Send this list.
When we send a message or create a message we can put any contact field token into the message.
1- first name
2- last name
3- field one
4- field two
5- field three
We can talk a little bit more about those additional fields in another video.
We'll just have a look at these messages that we have sent.

Go to Reports Tab. Click Reports tab.
Go to Messaging. Click Messaging.

Click Search.
Run our messages for the day.
05:22 Message History List
So now you can see the messages that we've sent.
You can see that the first name has been replaced with the token that we stuck into the message.
