4x4 Truck Camper Life | Exploring Backroads And New Places With Our Dog
Hey! We're Starr and Daniel, this summer we decided to turn the back of our truck into a tiny home on wheels. As huge fans of all the van life conversion videos we see we got inspired to take the plunge and convert our truck with zero experience. We spent countless hours working to turn the back of our truck into a self converted truck camper. We installed power, heat and made it a very cosy space to live in. In this episode we start by exploring some backroads in the east kootenays near the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The area we have travelled to is much prettier than we thought it would be. The pictures were great but actually being here is amazing. We camp on a riverbed, which we have always wanted to do on the first night. After all those bumpy roads our camper turned into a slight disaster. After cleaning up the mess we make some spaghetti in our rice cooker. Why in the rice cooker you say? Because our tiny hiking cook stove is not very efficient. We play fetch with Aspen in the river bank and go to bed. The next morning we headed out to anoint her camp spot. It was a very nice spot and we still can’t believe the lack of snow here it is amazing! We then went on a little hike around the bull river area. It was a beautiful walk and bull mountain in the background was absolutely stunning! We then spent the night at hotshot lake at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. This lake has become one of our favourites in the area as the views are incredible! The next morning I go for a short hike up to a butte. It was a beautiful view at the top and many animals on the trail. I got the drone out and got some amazing shots of the Rockies and surrounding area. Truck camper life in bc is amazing and the east kootenays are a beautiful place to be! Thanks so much for watching have a great day!
