BEST SOUND AT 730p. I've always wanted to try an SME tonearm, and for many years I have heard about the one of a kind Sony TTS-3000, and I was fortunate enough to find this one on Craigslist. After watching ebay for a couple of years, their selling price was always sky high, and I gave up. They are very much what they say they are, the SME brings out the best in everything, lets your cartridge be the best it can with more detail, better defined bass etc, and has amazing tracking. The Sony TTS 3000 lives up to its reputation as well, very well built, solid real rosewood base that has 2 inches thick sides,3/4 inch thick bottom, double feedback protection with spring loaded feet, very accurate steady speed, and sound damping under the turntable. I was very fortunate to find this at a very good buy, actually more like a steal. Please don't make fun of my anti-skate weight it was missing, and I made a home made one out of a fishing weight, and cord. It weighs about the same and works, I'll eventually replace it with something that looks civilized, but this is the best I could do for now. Song is Blue Cha Cha by David Carroll from the Mercury LP All The World Dances. WHEY RECORDS CAN SOUND BETTER THAN CD http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/...
