How to Change Text Color in Final Cut Pro - Final Cut Fast
You can customize your titles by changing their style, color, opacity, and text layout. While you can type directly in the viewer, you will use the Text inspector to change the text color.
How to Change Title Text Color:
1 Select the title: Double-click the title clip in the timeline. The first line of text will automatically be selected in the viewer.
◦ Note: If your title has multiple text boxes, simply click the specific one you want to change directly in the viewer.
2 Open the Inspector: If it isn't open, press Command-4 (or go to Window - Show in Workspace - Inspector).
3 Switch to Text Settings: Click the Text button (the paragraph icon) at the top of the inspector window.
4 Choose your color: Scroll down to the Face section and choose a color using one of two methods:
◦ The Quick Menu: Click the disclosure triangle (arrow) next to the color well to open a grid of preset swatches.
◦ The Color Wheel: Click the solid color rectangle to open the native macOS color picker for precise, custom colors.
Note: In the Inspector, if you don’t see the different options under Face, double-click on the title bar or click the word Show.
