In Invincible, the Lizard League gang up on Rex Splode who manages to take out most of their members before collapsing from his injuries and exhaustion
King Lizard takes this opportunity to finish Rex off, putting his gun to Rex’s head telling him to say a prayer
Rex refuses telling him to get it over with already and King Lizard obliges, sending a bullet straight through his skull
But somehow Rex tanks this and hits the gun out of King Lizard’s hand using his half eaten arm
King Lizard says Rex ain’t got that dawg in him and breaks his leg but Rex doesn’t care, knocking King Lizard out with a single punch that breaks all of his teeth
King Lizard hits the ground and Rex take a couple steps before falling over his body, clearly hitting his limit
Brit, the original hero who’s actually Invincible arrives on scene at the request of Cecil but finds no one alive until he gets shot by King Lizard and duly notes that one of the bad guys is still breathing
Rex does end up surviving and the doctors give him a new hand before Cecil sends him and Invincible off on another mission, where he runs into Dupli-Kate’s brother, Multi-Paul
