Tony Reali reveals he reached out to Jay Mariotti
In 2010, "Around the Horn" regular Jay Mariotti no longer appeared on the show after pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery on alleged domestic violence. Since then, Mariotti has been negatively critical of the show, even insisting that its cancellation after 23 years was because the show was "woke." Longtime host Tony Reali disputes Mariotti's claims, but understands where it's coming from and Tony reveals he reached out to the panelist over the years since.
