DBeaver supports more than 100 different databases, including NoSQL ones. Today, we will show you how to connect to DocumentDB, one of the most popular document-oriented databases, purpose-built for JSON data management at scale.
Such databases use the concepts of "collections" and "documents" instead of the usual tables and rows. DBeaver PRO has implemented a JSON presentation for convenient viewing and editing of documents. It is easy to switch to it using the left-side panel of the Data Editor.
To start exploring your DocumentDB data in DBeaver, you first need to connect to this data source. It is possible to do this with the standard wizard in all our PRO applications. However, you can also use Cloud Explorer in DBeaver Ultimate and DBeaver Team Edition. In this video, we'll cover both methods step-by-step.
