Apex Legends Crazy Colors & Artifacts / Pixelated Blocks in Textures - How to fix
Update: The latest studio/game ready driver 610.62, released June 16, 2026, seems to fix the visual problems. But, I was getting moderate to severe freezing/stuttering with 610.62, so I once again went back to 591.74.
If you're getting random colored pixelated blocks/squares on textures and crazy colors in matches, here's how to fix it. It's not a hardware issue, it's a problem with the Nvidia driver version 610.47 and installing a previous graphics driver resolves it. I've also seen posts about frame rate issues which were resolved by rolling the GPU driver back. I forgot to mention that in the video.
The last time I got a new PC I kept my old one. The new PC was having frame rate issues and the old PC was having artifacts/crazy colors but no frame rate problems. Both had the 610.47 driver installed.
