"Former PlayStation, EA and Infinity Ward Devs Form Brand New Studio. A team of veteran developers has established a new independent studio called That’s No Moon. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the team includes former Naughty Dog, Infinity Ward, Sony Santa Monica Studio, EA, and Bungie developers, to name a few. Among the key figures are studio co-founder and chief creative officer Taylor Kurosaki, and game director Jacob Minkoff. The pair left Infinity Ward earlier this year, having served as design director and narrative director of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare respectively.

"After a year full of delays, only a few PlayStation-exclusive games are still due to be released in 2021. Considering the PS5's sales so far, the lack of exclusives for the rest of the year likely won't be be much of an issue for Sony - or for prospective console buyers. Recent insider reports suggest Horizon Forbidden West will be delayed to 2022, but these have yet to be confirmed by Sony. If the delay is true, then the PS4 and PS5 will have lost their major exclusive title for the 2021 holiday season.

"PlayStation Fans Spreading 'Halo Infinite' Spoilers In "Console War Retaliation" Need To Grow Up. A small number of The Last Of Us fans appear to be spreading Halo Infinite campaign spoilers online. They claim this is in retaliation for similar spoiler leaks ahead of the launch of The Last Of Us Part II in 2020. Halo Infinite creative director Joseph Staten confirmed over the weekend that a number of files containing campaign spoilers had accidentally been included in the recent tech preview build. Despite Staten's request that fans not go digging for them, dataminers soon pulled them and started sharing them online.

"Sony’s new PS5 beta update also fixes one of its silliest flaws. The first major system update for Sony’s PlayStation 5 is arriving in beta form today, finally letting you expand the console’s 667GB of usable storage by adding your own PCIe Gen 4 SSD as well as testing new UI options and expanding 3D Audio support. But the full changelog also includes a few features that Sony didn’t highlight to press — including a way to easily update your DualSense controller if you press the wrong button! The beta also makes one of our other UI frustrations slightly better: the ability to easily turn off the console. It’s still a mystery why Sony switched away from letting you long-press the PS button to requiring extra taps, but at least now you can change how many taps it takes. Pressing the hamburger / start button in the PS5’s quick actions menu now lets you drag any of them (including the PS5’s digital power button) to a different position in that menu.
