In NCERT - CBSE curriculum Std 6th, 7th and 8th have Chapter named MODAL in their English Grammar Text. We use modals to show something is certain, possible or impossible; Ie, they indicate willingness, promise, readiness, possibility, probability, ability, permission, request, offer, wish, order, suggestion, advice, obligation, emphasis etc. All these situations are explained with examples; pointing out the differences and similarities.
Modal verbs are: Will, Would, Shall, May, Might, Can, Could, Should, Must.
