Canon 5D II Magic Lantern - h.264 vs RAW vs Dual Iso
This is a side by side comparison between standard h.264 codec from the 5D mark II , RAW and Dual Iso - options from Magic lantern. All scenes were shot with Canon 50 mm 1.4 USM lens. The original Raw and Dual Iso is 1824x1026 and then was scaled 105.5% to 1080p. The CF card is SandDisk Extreme 64GB with 85 mb/s write speed. Both Raw and Dual Iso was recorded at around 70mb/s. Raw files ( MLV ) was converted in DNGs with ML RAW Viewer. Dual Iso videos ( MLV ) was precessed with Switch ( Mac only ) and exported in ProRes 4444 with C-Log.
