So for my ASM hacks I actually replace the minigame files, and was informed there was a way to access them in the menu still without the button being shown. I was surprised that all of them still work despite me chunking at them like swiss cheese. Of course it's perfectly acceptable to load code in place of an image for minigames, but all hell breaks loose if you blink too hard to crash a level.
