This is a follow-up to my previous videos where LEDVANCE devices were added via SmartThings — an option that is no longer available.

What you’ll learn in this video:
Why the SmartThings method no longer works
What Tuya Local is (and how it’s different from the old Local Tuya)
What you need before starting (HACS)
How to extract the required device information
How to add a LEDVANCE device to Home Assistant using Tuya Local
The benefits of running Tuya / LEDVANCE devices locally
This method also works for LEDVANCE smart plugs and other Tuya-based devices.
⚙️ Requirements:
Home Assistant
HACS installed
LEDVANCE device paired in the LEDVANCE app
Access to your router (to find the device IP)
