Is the autistic audience allowed to critique a reality show representing autism if they’re not a participant in the show?
Should the participants in the show have a voice to share their experiences and perceptions of their own representations?
In order to have equitable progress, we cannot say any one group is not allowed to have and share their perspectives. One does not negate the other. Two things can contradict each other and both be equally valid
If you silence either group… that’s ableist.
