Good&Bad Wheel Bearing Sounds
Difference between good and bad wheel bearings on the shake and spin test. This test is the easiest and fastest test to pinpoint a bad wheel bearing once the vehicle is safely off the ground. Test and compare all 4 wheels and listen for difference sounds and feel for play. Sometimes the sound will be obvious or subtle- so it is always best to have all 4 wheels in the air at the same time to move and test and compare between all wheels. Sometimes you will find more than one wheel bearing bad!
