Here I compare an early Artillery 3D Sidewinder X1 vs the most current X1. I will repeat it, there are no "official" versions from Artillery, they are branded as the X1. The community came up with the "versions" for better or worse to keep track of the changes. That being said, both are capable machines that have served me well. Overall, the newer machine has a lot of improvements, mostly in the USB drive/SD card slot area, the larger cooling fan underneath, and the 30 pin cable not doing origami to get into the base.
I forgot to mention in the video that they switched from spring couplers to solid couplers and a floating nut mechanism on the newest machine. The original had the spring couplers and solidly attached nuts to the Z gantry.
