You know I probably wouldn't have put this up because I've seen videos about this already. But for whatever reason nobody ever puts up both versions in the same video and they don't talk to Lan beforehand either. So as you guys know my whole deal is getting out as much of the dialogue of a thing as I can. That way you get as much of the story as possible and we can theorize!
Lan's story wasn't really too interesting to me in the beginning. She's illiterate and just some person to represent Liyue's Adventurer's Guild. Big whoop. It was actually more annoying to get her Daily Commission because you get it so often and nothing ever comes of it. What do I care about the unseen razor anyway?
Well shame on me for not realizing what game I was playing. Mihoyo never lets any of their stories go. (except Scara) So a while ago we got an update to Lan's story with a new branch of her commission. After you do that and find the broken sword hilt her commission is forever changed. You then get 2 versions of a Chasm update to her commission and it looks like she's getting closer to the truth.
And it gets even bigger which is another reason why I decided to get this up. So let's first explore this new chapter of Lan's story and we'll go from there.
