How to play "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter | PART 1 (piano tutorial)
WATCH ME sing and play the full song: • Daniel Powter - Bad Day | PIANO VOCAL COVER
I initially made this video for my brother-in-law, Mac. He already knew the beginning part. That's why I don't go into too much detail about the rhythm and timing of it. This tutorial is best suited for someone who can already play a bit, or picks up quickly.
This little tutorial quickly became popular in the early days of YouTube, and in 2020 after 13 years it now has over a million views. The fact that it was popular prompted me to (after a bit of time) get the entire song up in 5 parts. Enjoy what you see, and I hope it benefits you.
Let me know if you want a tutorial on a song that I play or might know.
I initially learned this from a lead sheet and did the rest by ear. You can get the full sheet music at musicnotes.com.

"This would officially be my first tutorial. heh. I suck at this. More to come in the future!! But don't expect fancy-schmancy diagrams and whiteboards."
