Much has changed since the last Mortal Kombat tournament. Dark forces have once again waged war on the globe. These attacks have seriously weakened Earth's protective shield. The armies of Outworld have begun an invasion. Only the strongest fighters can withstand their onslaught, uniting in the name of justice and becoming defenders of peace.
