How to Enable HDR in a Samsung 4KTV (4K)

HDR is a big feature of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles (with recent patches/updates), and only recently manufactured televisions support it.
When I finished setting up my Samsung 4KTV, I was surprised to find my Xbox One X only inform me I had partial HDR support. After initially believing I may have just paid too little for the television, I found a setting in the TV’s external device manager menu which turned my Xbox One X’s HDR diagnostic fully green. Here’s what to do to turn on HDR support for supported devices!
