This video shows you what it's like to operate the automatic power opening tailgate on this pickup truck. It's really cool, and such a convenient feature, it's hard to believe that nobody's thought of doing this sooner! What a great idea, brought to you by RAM, Dodge Chrysler and FCA! How convenient for those times you take your pickup truck to places like Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes, or Tractor Supply, and you need to load heavy bags of groceries, or bags of cement, or feed, or whatever into your truck. Then you can just automatically open the tailgate, which makes it that much easier to load your truck. Awesome!
Please note, this truck's remote control key fob has the trunk tailgate opening feature built right in, so you can open the tailgate from a distance. Of course, you can also open and close it by hand the old fashioned way. Plus, the key fob has a button to remote start the engine, and also drop the rear air bags on the suspension, which lowers the tailgate height of the truck for even easier loading, and also getting into and out of the truck bed. Cool!
