Spring-Loaded Backlash Nut Installation Guide for LongMill CNCs by Sienci Labs, Updated
In this updated overview video, Jason will show you how to install the spring-loaded backlash nuts onto your LongMill CNC. These auto-adjusting backlash nuts help to take the guesswork out of adjusting the tension on the leadscrews for your machine. Installation is easy and fairly straightforward. Only a couple of tools are necessary and should take about half an hour to complete all four sets.
While we don't show how the X-axis is installed, the installation process is the exact same as the Y-axis. Users with the 12x30 and 30x30 only need the T8 spring-loaded nuts. https://bit.ly/3TgZnUL.
