In this beginners’ tutorial, Rich demonstrates more basic navigating and editing techniques in Melodyne. First he demonstrates a variety of ways to select or switch between notes. Next, he shows how to set up loop playback, and use the Autoscroll feature. Next, Rich shows and describes the three Macro Tools (the Pitch Macro, the Timing Macro, and the Levelling Macro) and how to best utilize them. Rich then goes on to show the power of the Melodyne selective undo feature, which allows for undoing certain changes without affecting others. Then, he shows the flexibility of quick keys in Melodyne, and how to change them to meet your needs. Last, he shows how easy it is to access and use the online manual.
