Crusader Kings 3 | Uncommon Beginners Tips and Tricks
If your experience with Crusader Kings 3 is anything like mine, your first few days with the game were extremely overwhelming. I’m a couple hundred hours in now and ready to share the things I WISH someone had told me when I started playing.
Additional Tips:
1) Play the tutorial. Seriously, there's way too many mechanics in this game to skip that. Plus it's actually a great start (Ireland) to just keep playing thru and see what happens.
2) Check out in depth YT guides for more details on mechanics you struggle with.
3) Men At Arms are super important to your military might.
4) Matrilineal marriage is your friend. If you're cool with a bunch of disinheritance to let an oldest daughter inherit your primary title. The right matrilineal marriage can peacefully double the size of your realm. Otherwise, use them to put your family on other thrones, or to bring high skill/prowess men to your court.
This isn't by any means exhaustive, and there's a lot more depth that each of these things can be looked at thru. But having watched a bunch of beginners tips videos myself, most of these never really made the cut for them but were super important to my enjoyment of the game.
