In this video, I’ll explain *how to configure MAC Binding on FortiGate Firewall* step by step in Malayalam.
MAC binding (also called IP-MAC binding or ARP binding) helps improve network security by allowing only specific devices (identified by their MAC addresses) to use assigned IPs.
💻 Lab Setup:
FortiGate Firewall (v7.x)
VMware / EVE-NG
Windows 10/11 Client for Testing
⚙️ Configuration Steps:
1️⃣ Go to *Network → Interfaces → LAN → DHCP Server*
2️⃣ Scroll to “**Static MAC-IP Mapping**”
3️⃣ Click *Create New → Enter IP + MAC + Hostname*
4️⃣ Click *OK → Apply → Save Configuration*

Prevent unauthorized devices from connecting
Ensure DHCP assigns fixed IP to the same system
