Crackle Test - 48 ppm Water - Paraffinic Mineral Oil
A crackle test was performed on a paraffinic mineral oil used in a high-speed still. There was 48 ppm water in the oil sample. There were no clear bubbles, but there were some edge effects with the drop of oil expanded on the hot plate.
