Webinar | Internacional gender justice and the pandemic (ENGLISH)
Crises are never neutral: they reinforce all existing inequalities and this also applies to the current Covid19 pandemic. Social inequalities are widened and the social consequences of the current crisis particularly affect women and girls. The international webinar “Gender Justice and the Pandemic”, organized by the Diversity Program, in partnership with the German embassy in Brazil, aims to discuss the gender-specific effects of the pandemic from an intersectional perspective, reflecting on the relationships with Law and Democracy and addressing issues such as precariousness, the role of sexual division of labor and domestic violence in this context.
