Hello all,
Welcome to a Melbourne trains video.
Today we have the 17th instalment of one of our oldest running series, Trains Around Melbourne. Being a new year, this time we introduce Melbourne's newest train to the series, the Evolution High Capacity Metro Trains. We were supposed to have an introductory video for the HCMTs late last year, however we decided to wait until they began operating on the Sunbury line to do this video. With the Dandenong line now being uniquely HCMTs now, it’s only right to have these included as part of the series. Once again we are slowly catching up with the older clips, so more recent clips are now being used, dating back to 2019.
Most of the footage was captured as extra clips during heritage operations around Melbourne's network.
