This is PART 1 of a SERIES OF 3 video tutorials on how to paint wood on scale models. Realistic wood textures can be tricky for model makers, and in this video I show you how to use oil paints to replicate authentic wood grain on plastic model kit pieces, specifically in 1/35 scale. Good for wooden boxes, crates, fences, furniture and rubble in dioramas.
