Dying Light is an open-world survival horror and action-adventure video game developed by Polish studio Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2015. Following the release of The Following, the game was also made available as part of the Enhanced Edition.
The game takes place in the fictional Middle Eastern metropolis of Harran, which is in the grip of a zombie apocalypse. The protagonist, an undercover agent, joins a community of Harran survivors defending themselves from zombies and bandits. The features of the game are the active use of parkour in close urban areas and the change of day and night - at night, much more dangerous opponents appear on the streets of the city.
