In this video, you will learn how to add a shortcut of a SharePoint document library or folder to your OneDrive, so you can access and sync your files more easily. This feature allows you to create a link to a SharePoint library or folder in your OneDrive, without taking up any storage space. You can also move or delete the shortcut as you wish, without affecting the original files.

To add a shortcut, you need to go to the SharePoint site and find the library or folder you want to link to. Then, you can either click on the “Add shortcut to OneDrive” button on the command bar, or right-click on the folder and select the same option. The shortcut will appear in your OneDrive under “My files”, with a small link icon on it. You can also create shortcuts from the OneDrive web app or Microsoft Teams.

Once you have the shortcut, you can access it from any device, such as Windows File Explorer, Mac Finder, or mobile apps. You can also sync the shortcut to your local device, if you want to work offline. However, you need to be careful not to sync the same library or folder twice, as this may cause sync issues.
