How Sound Artist Creates Intricate Patterns With Noise
Sound artist Steve Mould uses noise to create intricate patterns on a metal square called a Chladni Plate. When a bow plays against the metal square, parts of the plate begin to vibrate. Couscous then dances with the vibrations to form detailed patterns.The end result is called a Chladni Figure.
