Raise the input tray and the input tray extender.
Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide all the way to the left, and then release the input tray shield.

Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide to the right until it stops at the edge of the paper, and then release the input tray shield.
Pull out the output tray and the output tray extender, and then lift the paper catch.
NOTE: After loading paper, make sure to select the correct paper size and paper type settings when printing or copying.
Load envelopes
Load the printer with envelopes to print addresses for the recipient and sender.
Remove any plain paper from the input tray.
Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide all the way to the left, and then release the input tray shield.
Load up to five envelopes into the far-right side of the input tray, and then slide the stack of envelopes down until it stops. Make sure the side to be printed on faces up, and the side with the flap faces down.
If the envelope flap is on the long edge of the envelope, insert the envelope with the flap-side positioned to the left of the input tray.
If the envelope flap is on the short edge, insert the envelope with the flap-side positioned to the top of the input tray.
Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide to the right until it stops at the edge of the envelopes, and then release the input tray shield.
Pull out the output tray and the output tray extender, and then lift the paper catch.
NOTE: After loading envelopes, make sure to select the correct paper size and paper type settings when printing or copying.
Load cards and photo paper
Load photo paper into the printer to print high-quality cards and photographs.
Remove any plain paper from the input tray.
Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide all the way to the left, and then release the input tray shield.
Load up to twenty cards or sheets of photo paper into the far-right side of the input tray with the short edge down and the print side up, and then slide the stack of cards or paper in until it stops.
NOTE: If the cards or photo paper you use have perforated tabs, load the paper so the tabs are on top.
Pull the input tray shield back and hold it, slide the paper width guide to the right until it stops at the edge of the paper, and then release the input tray shield.
Pull out the output tray and the output tray extender, and then lift the paper catch.
Once you are done printing, remove any unused photo paper from the input tray. Store the photo paper in a sealed bag in cool, dark place so it does not deteriorate and reduce print quality.
