Tibetan Fox: Silly Face, Cunning Predator
She has an expression on her face as if she is living this life for the tenth time. This is a Tibetan fox. And despite her unusual and sometimes stupid face, she is actually very dangerous and cunning. This is one of the few predators that can imitate birdsong, thereby luring birds to her.
She can wait for hours at the hole of her prey - and still get what she wants. Very often she is seen next to snow leopards: the fox follows them and waits for them to catch someone, so that later she can steal something or eat the leftovers.
And her signature "stupid" face is the result of the structure of the skull: the cheeks are wide, the eyes are close to each other, the muzzle is short, and the jaws are well developed. The main feature of her muzzle is also her main weapon.
In addition, the Tibetan fox is larger than the usual red one. And the altitudes at which she lives - 3-4 thousand meters - clearly did not make her kinder. Could you live at such an altitude?
