In this video, I show the base Photoshop setup I use for architectural visualization after rendering.
A render is only the starting point. To keep control in post production, I set up the image as a layered PSD with render passes, masks, effects, and the background separated. This makes it much easier to adjust exposure, lighting, shadows, glare, reflections, textures, and specific parts of the image without destroying the full render.
In this lesson from How Architects Sell Projects Today, I walk through the first PSD structure, explain how render passes are organized, show how masks can be selected from scene layers, and demonstrate why I use a 32-bit workflow before saving down to an 8-bit Photoshop file.
