In this video, I walk you through my latest 3D printed firearm accessory designs created in Shapr3D — including a custom M-LOK hand stop / barricade stop and a dual optic mount for AR platforms with Picatinny rails. I’ll show you the full digital renderings, explain my design process, and share 3D printed prototypes that I’ve been testing for durability and function.

The M-LOK hand stop is designed for stability, recoil control, and barricade support. I cover how the grooves allow for better grip on doors, barricades, and obstacles, while remaining comfortable and snag-free.

Next, I dive into the dual optic/laser mount concept — a lightweight, aluminum-ready design that allows for red dot sights, lasers, or lights, while reducing unnecessary weight. I discuss the challenges of co-witnessing, clamp strength, and machining considerations.

I also share one of my first aluminum prototypes machined through Xometry, lessons learned from multiple 3D print iterations, and future plans for refining and possibly injection molding these parts.
