Vintage Radio Museum , Bangalore Preparation
Hello !! To share my passion and knowledge of valve radios with others interested in wireless broadcasting I am planning to open a private “Vintage Radio Museum and Knowledge Center” by 1st Nov this year, my dedicated to my guru, mentor Mr. Pandu Rajan.
I have over 110 Valve Radios manufactured in Holland, France, Germany, UK and USA in the 1928 - 1970 years, most of them restored to their original look, working and top tonal quality. The collection is priceless.
I still need to do a lot of preliminary work - arranging the exhibits in display racks, more Radio restorations, Description plates, Valves display, Knowledge Boards etc. Lest this old-world charm be lost in the new maze of ever growing and innovating microchip world of TV, smartphones and laptops. In this Hitech world of IT, BT, IOT, Internet, I thought to make this museum and gift it “Namma Bangalore”, for the younger generation to see our bygone Radio Technology. The youngsters do not know beyond TV, Tablet and Mobile.
I seek suggestions from elderly and knowledgeable, to make this Museum unique, to enrich the India’s Arts and Cultural World in this small way. Just to share my passion and knowledge with someone who is interested. Contact UDAY K - (9845043014) PEACE.
