Create Date Dimension using DAX within Power BI Desktop
In this video, we look on how to create a Date Dimension table within Power BI Desktop.
Date dimension is a very important table in any data model.
It allows us to analyze performance across different periods.
This dimension includes continuous range of dates including other related columns like Year, Month, Month number, Year-Month, Week, Quarter, Day etc. All these columns are essential for analysis.
We will make use of only Power BI Desktop to create a Date dimension from scratch.
