Henry Cavill FIRED As Superman!
Some sad news for Henry Cavill fans today on Comicbook.com, as the actor revealed that after meeting with James Gunn to discuss the future of his role as Superman in the new DCU, it was decided that Cavill would be stepping away from the role as James Gunn wanted the next Superman movie to be about a young clark kent, still new to being Superman.
That means that just months after his appearance as Superman in the mid credits scene of Black Adam, Henry Cavill is officially done with being the big blue boyscout again. While Gunn said their were other exciting opportunities for Cavill in the DCU, his days as Kal-El appear to be finally over.
