Power BI Quick Tip: Utilizing XMLA Endpoints to Create and Deploy Power BI Models
A video to illustrate how the XMLA Endpoint capability of Power BI can be utilized for creating, accessing and modifying Power BI datasets within a workspace from external tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Visual Studio/SSDT Tabular project.
For this to be possible
1. The Power BI workspace should be of Premium or Premium Per User (PPU) capability and also Tabular project compatibility should be set to 1500
2. XMLA endpoint setting should be set to Read/Write in the admin portal under Premium Per User or Premium tab
