You need not always head to Old Delhi for authentic Mughlai Biryani. Al Nawaz, a family owned restaurant in Jamia Nagar serves pretty authentic Mughlai cuisine. This hidden gem serves succulent fare from delectable kebabs which melt in the mouth to sumptuous Biryanis. Their biryani is good and the speciality is that Mutton and Chicken Biryani are prepared separately and have different flavours and spices. In most joints any Biryani has the same rice base and spices. Here it is varied. One should also taste their khameeri roti utterly different from the usual tandoori roti.
