In general when you record an audio, it picks up lot of unwanted background noises. It becomes a headache to remove all sort of background noises like white noise, hiss noise, and so on. To analyze an audio in automatically , Just simply analyze icon right next to the clip and it fixes pretty much automatically. You can select the dropdown list and you notice pre built profiles like voice enhance, music enhance, loudness and so on.. select Bass Boost, and tweak the loudness amount, and uniformity of the loudness keep it 100%. Now click the noise removal, drag it to 100% and leave the hum removal as it is.
How to use Spaces in Final Cut Pro. This Spaces effect has wonderful predefined spaces with natural audible levels for each space. Basically you are simulating the sound of acoustic environments such as rooms, concert halls, small, medium, large spaces etc. To understand the concept, the sound waves repeatedly bounce off the surfaces like walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and so on of any space or objects within a space, gradually dying out until they are inaudible. Thats the concept.
One of the useful Specialized effect is Denoiser effect. If you select the drop down list, you will notice few presets, select white noise filter. You may want to play with Hiss noise as well. It depends on the audio clip you are working with. In this case, lets select white noise filter.
I've had some issues in the past removing background noise like static noise, white noise, hiss noise in FCPX. Annoying Background Noises Can Ruin a Clip, but Final Cut Pro has very good tools to identify and clean up those unwanted noises automatically and clean up your audio clip in a click of a button! Using this technique you learn how to remove unwanted noises very easily.
