Color Grading for Mobile Videos | DaVinci Resolve
Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Today I've brought you a video that you always ask for: how to do COLOR GRADING on a file created with a CELL PHONE and/or a camera that already delivers a video with more processed colors, meaning it's not in an S-log color profile, for example. In today's video, I've separated two very important steps to achieve a good result. The first is COLOR CORRECTION, where we'll retrieve as much information as possible from the file before moving on to COLOR GRADING, where we'll create an atmosphere through colors to reinforce an emotion.
I always joke here that color correction is like sanding a piece that's going to be painted, and color grading is the application of that paint. The better sanded and prepared the piece, the better the application of the "paint" will be, and the better the result will be.
