Garmin Edge 810 and GoPro Hero 3 GPS Interference
Short video showing GPS RF Interference from my GoPro Hero 3+ and my Garmin Edge 810 bike computer. When the GoPro is running under the Garmin on my kedge mount I found that the Garmin was losing the GPS signal. After some tests I found that the GoPro was wiping out the GPS signal!
A quick google search later found a lot of other people and drone users who have the same problems and I found a template to print and cut out which can be used to shield the GoPro. I printed the template onto a sticky label and fitted it onto a sheet of sticky backed copper sheet. This was then fitted to the GoPro and the new shied seems to solve the GPS problems.
