Garden tags. Indestructible and free.
Almost a gardener's dream ("almost" because a dream is when they just spontaneously appear in some magical box :)).
Choose a hard pencil (Russian marking T, international - H), or at most a medium-hard pencil (TM or HB). You can, of course, write with any pencil. However, a line drawn with a soft pencil will smudge more easily. The writing will be legible, but the white background may get dirty, and the tag will look untidy. In the video, I wrote with the first soft pencil I had on hand, so the writing is very bright, but I didn't rub it too hard.
It's best to choose sandpaper or a file that's neither too coarse nor too fine. On a fine texture, the writing won't be very bright, while on a coarse texture, the lines may be uneven.
